Lets be honest and I am sure I will get critised on here, but what has he done since been here One good game at SH other than that nothing for me, i expected much much more too casual with the kick today and seems to spend way too much time as a second centre.

His tackling has been one of the best aspects of his game for me, but like a poster pointed out we have only seen the best of him in 1 game, the saints game, I want to see a lot more tbh.

I am beginning to wonder about the signing of sean. Seems very injury prone. Could the money we spent on him have gone elsewhere I dont know its just my thoughts.

Signing Long was always going to be a bit of a gamble, the gamble is still on as far as I can see.

Oh and lets not forget Rich Horne in all this as if his injury problems continue then having all our eggs in those two baskets could well turn out to be blown.

Not sure what else the club could have done, at the time of signing Long, no other player was available.

If he out for some time either, play Tansey and Horne at halfbacks, Whiting FB or Berrigan and Horne, Houghton and Washbrook at hooker.

John Clarke isnt getting a game at Warrington at the moment, good solid player and could be worth a lona move to play hooker and use Berrigan in the halfs.

Sean Long is class and if anyone thinks that in his 30s he is an old man then they need to think again - it's not like he's 60 ffs. He is arguably the best half-back in the competition and one of the best in the world and a big game player. Let's see how he does against Leeds in the CC before we judge.

Did anyone see how often he took the ball up to the gain line against Rovers and as a result we made several clean breaks? We haven't seen that since we had Casper (edited to save embarrassment

). We are a much better team with him in the side and pose a much bigger attacking threat from anywhere on the park.
