" If practice makes perfect, and no one is perfect, why practice? ": |
|
| Time travel does exist !!
It was back to the old Hull of last year, 8 games, five wins, the only difference are that some of the wins were actually good ones.
Inconsistenceis all over the park last night, just like last year, lacking desire, urgencey, organisation and most disturbing, where were the leaders !!
Given the number of games, 'the best pre-season' with a relativley stable team to select from, i'm not seeing progression, we should be pulling things together now, but what seems to be happening is it's unravelling.
The Brafut game was iffy, even allowing for the conditions, i fear for Good Friday, i suppose it's close enough to con the players it's a home game, that could be the key, all away games play a vid on the bus of shots of Anlaby road, Walton Street, we need something to change and rappid.

8903.gif
Briscoe couldn't get into Wigans Team because of Radlinski even though Radlinski was playing crap at the time still better than old bent nose.[/quote:36nw6ut6]
Oh and as for Briscoe,if he was that fab,why did Wigan see fit to let him leave?[/quote:36nw6ut6]:8903.gif |

| Quote: PAUL M "His form in his first season was really good and he was our POTY. Last season he was not so good but the side were awful and he was also carrying injuries. This season he started really well against Saints and Hudds but was poor against Crusaders and Salford. In the main he is doing a good job this season especially considering he had no trial games due to recovering from injury and also that the ptb's have been badly policed meaning hookers cannot get the quick ptb's they need.'"
That just about sums it up.
Quote: PAUL M "I think that we could easily just all agree that he is clearly a decent player (if he wants to be) but we have not seen anywhere near enough of it.
'"
I don't agree with that.

I just expect a lot more from one of our higher earning Marque players i guess!!
considering his obvious quality I would have expected him to rip it into the lesser experienced guys at say Crusaders and Salford etc but looks decidedly jaded to me

He might be struggling slightly due to not having a full preseason?
Look at Buderus at Leeds he seems to be doing about aswell as Berrigan and he is also a high profile signing. Maybe poeple just expect too much due to what a player is getting paid, maybe we are overpaying him but that is not Berrigan's fault. I am confident that Berrigan will get better and better as the season goes on providing the pack keeps getting on the front foot.

He'll get better as the season goes on IMO.
