I said it too soon for Reece. He was all at sea in defence constantly and whilst he took the ball in well he let in two soft tries. I don't blame the lad but Agar should never have picked him and some fans should stop calling for every young player to get a game!

On paper it was still the perfect game for Reece to make his debut in. If our forwards had put down a platform we'd have been fine. We just coughed up too much possession and gave away too many penalities. Couple of errors from Reece but they were no worse than the number of missed tackles that Yeamo made and the fact that for the tries conceded down his side Whiting and Tansey did very little to help.

Correct I had no problems with that selection and still don't. Our slide defence out wide has been getting worse not better and exposing the wingers regularly. There was more than enough in the team and it should have been Lyne's pace that was asking questions of them not us worrying about any frailties he obviously has as a young lad.
