Has that actually happened/ever been confirmed and if so do we know who we have given dual deals to?

It's been talked about at some length on here but i can't recall the club or SL ever confirming it?

Thats the bit that confuses me. Do we need to announce in advance which players have a dual contract and with who? I noticed a lot of the Leigh players were dual contracted players but is this set in stone before the season starts or what?!?!

I was of the understanding that if the dual contract scenario is true you have to pre-register your players and cant mix and match during the season otherwise it makes it pointless.

As i say, the biggest confusion for me is that it's never actually been confirmed.

I would say the whole benefit would be the flexibility a club needs with fringe players. Some fringe players in January may become established first teamers by February so whats the point of having a dual registration! Surely the idea is to highlight a player who is not getting regular first team rugby and does not benefit playing U20s to then go to a NL1/2 club. That way if the player is needed back at short notice this can happen.
