its all about the speed, accuracy and application of the passing. unfortunatly Long is the only player that can do it to the standard we require to be a top team. Washy can be showed how to do it time and again, but he is not the pivot that longy is.

If he has hamstring problems he'll be in and out of the side with that before he picks up any other problems. Always the risk with a 33 year old. Have to say orford looks a lot more robust and likely to be able to take the knocks

Agree with that. When we are passing its floated to each other, were as today, Crusaders passing was drilled. Much, much faster.

Very easy to defend against as all we did was run across sideaways(washy,horne) instaed of going at the line and bringing people out of the defensive line, these 2 just on't work as a half back pairing

That's right. Provided it's drilled in anyone can do it. That's why anyone can play half back if they're coached well.
