The moral of the story seems to be get in touch first. When Mrs 28 had sprained her ankle badly a few years back and was on crutches, we had a game at Cas the following weekend. I called them and they were great - seats in the main stand for both of us for free and assistance from their stewards.

And that was a drinking injury too

so what you are saying in clear English is that the stewards are wrong for stopping a man from sitting in an area he isnt eligable to sit in despite him turning up unannounced and expecting to be able to am I right here or not??
what I dont get here is why he thought he was eligable

If I was the steward involved my response would have been along the lines of " oh jesus how unlucky for you, I bet that hurts doesnt it but as you managed to walk in here under your own steam then head towards the area your meant to be sat in under your own steam .. ta ta

If he had gone to the ticket office well in advance they would have made arrangements I know this is a fact my wife had a knee replacement and I when to the ticket office and they were very helpful ..We got seats in the disabled area.. at Half time the wife wanted the loo and a lady steward took her to the toilets and waited out side the loo and guide her back to our seats ..somebody could have made arrangements in advance

ya but as i said they was plenty of space left, after kick off and we carried him up and down the stairs as he couldnt bend his leg and put weight on it, the steward didnt even point us in direction of empty isle seats

If he was so badly hurt he couldn't bend his leg or put weight on it then the last place he should have been was a RL game, I assume he didn't even consider the risk he was placing on everyone else had there been the need for an evacuation etc.?

So think on all those in wheelchairs, disabled or generally infirm. You're putting us all at risk by attending games. You really need to think whether or not its worth attending in future.
