| Crusaders RL have recruited their third player from East Yorkshire outfit Hull FC in a matter of weeks as former Great Britain International Gareth Raynor will make the move to Wales, along with Tommy Lee and Jamie Thackray.
The 31-year-old winger was subject to various scandals and court appearances following a number of incidents that took place in 2009. However the winger was released by the black and whites and the Crusaders have pulled out the stops to give him another opportunity.

The two together may seem unduly long, but bear in mind he is effectively serving time for two quite serious offences at the same time. And that is, after all, what suspended sentences are for.'" Do you think i could get my £20 back if they deem his assets are purchased through this!!
It may be fake but it lasts ages!

Not all Karl not all. Somewhere on this forum I told you all why he would be sent down.
Equally for some of you who feel he can appeal his sentence. Whilst that may be the case it will be difficult as he pleaded guilty.
If you look at this as an individual case then you can argue its a harsh sentence. What you will find though is that for this level of fraud and the sums involved its about par for the course. some of you are forgetting the level of planning this kind of offence takes. Its not just a quick punch which happened after a drunken night out. half a second of madness which destroys the victim's life and his family and also the defendant. I will add here that I am NOT saying that a drunken punch is a lesser crime for one moment, so do not attempt to twist what I say. Violence is violence and should be punished in an appropriate way. Which in the Blackpool case the judge thought was through a suspended sentence and a warning shot, probably on the back of HFC supporting him.
This current offence took a great deal of planning and preparation. Maybe not the most suffisticated or sexy offence but non the less its a well planned out offence over a length of time.
Get it out of your heads that its victimless and causes no offence or harm to anyone. It does. Maybe not the majority of victims but non the less its causes harm.
Raynor has had more than enough chances in life and now at long last a judge has seen fit to give him time to reflect on what he has been doing all his adult life. If he doesn't reflect then I am certain it will not be his last time in the big house.
The man is a fool who has thrown everything away because he is unable to use the brain god gave him. He will have time to reflect now and when he re-enters society he will be jobless and probably once trading standards have finished with him pennyless. I just hope for his sake that he learns his lesson.

| And with that I think we'll end it. Everyone's had a chance to have their say, he doesn't play for us any more, and the risk of libel is always there.
