Any money paid to Gaz Raynor in settlement counts ( IRC) on the cap, so we may not have saved much if anything. I do not think this is an insurance payout job either and I would not expect any further statement from the club in regard to this matter.

That's 11 but I agree with what you are saying. We are a little light and we don't really know how good or how ready those three academy players will be. Injuries will be a concern but give me a pack like ours everyday over a couple of extra backs.

I do agree however that the balance has tipped a little too far in favour of the pack.

A shame to see him go out like this. He's still comfortably the best winger in the league when fit. Those last two words, combined with his other off-field problems mean that this is probably the right decision though.

Let's loan some of our youngsters to Crusaders, they need the players, we need some of our youngsters to get some experience. Have them on a rolling loan deal, so we can recall them as and when needed.

Washy is a loose man who can just about get by at stand off but he is far from being good there. Manu is a 2nd rower. Don't ever remember him playing in the centres before. You could say any of the back rowers could play centre at a push but they wouldn't be very good
