'84-'85 league title was the last 'major' trophy. We've only won three championships in the last 50 years, and spent a long time becalmed in the lower divisons so for a little club like HKR this is, if not yet a golden era, at least a silver age.

Of course, in the quarter century since we were last champions, the Big 5 have dominated. Wigan have won 10 Challenge Cups and 9 championships, Saints have won 7 and 5, while the Yorkshire trio of Hull FC, Leeds and Bradford have won a dozen major trophies between them.
