Well, it works like this,
at the start of the season I sell you a "pass" buying that "pass" guarantess your seat for the season, in fact, if you keep the "pass" for all time then you can keep your seat for all time (or at least, atht's how we sell them, at first)
then, when we're going well and defying all expectation, we announce that, to get the "pass" next season you have to join the "loyalty" club for £60, BUT that does mean you get a "discount" on your "pass", if you don't join, and someone else does, and they want the seat that your "pass" covers, then it's theirs, it's what we like to call "negative loyalty" on our behlaf to you.
