Tony Smith said in League Express a few weeks ago that there had been enquiries to Warrington from Tickle's end but they weren't taking it further.

I am sure that Tickle will move back to Lancs at the end of his contract next year. He wants to move home. He will only go this year if a like for like replacement comes in and that is inlikely as he is stilla good second rower. He is committed to another year here, before he goes back home!

I don't see why so many people want Tickle out, ever present record, always a reliable kicker, fair enough he misses a couple of tackles here and there but that's mainly because Agar plays him for 80 minutes and he is knackered!

Heard Tickle wants to Lancashire because at the moment he has to go straight back after training there to look after his kids. So fair enough if he wants to go, isn't a great player but still a good enough one when on form. Would want a transfer fee for him though.
