This is undoubtedly true. I think he'll be given 8-10 matches. The question is, does the club have a plan for replacing him if it doesn't work out in the first part of next season? By a plan I don't mean sacking him. I mean have they tried to identify potential suitable replacements? There would be no point in just sacking him and replacing him with Sharp/Crooks/Last on a caretaker basis or otherwise.
