Spoke to Calders last night, i said 'You had a good game mate'. He said 'were you at the game, we got hammered' I said 'yer i was but you were mom by far' Calders said 'yer but it means nowt, we lost!'


I asked him about Tommy Lee and why Agar dropped him, not sure I can put his reply on here!!

Calders has been one of only a few positives for us tis season.His enthusiasm and commitment cannot be faultered.What a pity the rest of the players have not followed suit.My player of the season by miles.

Afraid he will. Overlooked for all of the club's end of years awards, yet the vast majority of fans voted him POTY. What do we see that they can't?

In fact, is this the first nice thing Agar's said about him?

Hopefully the rest of the squad can match his enthusiasm next year.

It would be great to see him get better service and notch more tries than the season just gone.

100% effort and an unmatched appetite for chasing lost causes. Sad to say but the highlight of last season was away at Salford when he chased back 60 metres to put in a hit and dislodged the ball. Sean Long's got to put in some kicks for him this season. I think he will get plenty of gametime as he's one of 2 specialist wingers at the club and the other one may have availability issues.
