hes another one of the average players, hull have got to many of them but it looks like we made some quality signings for next year so hopefully we can challenge for top 4 finish next year

At one point on saturday i thought that Sky were going to set up a third error count just for Cordoba. He is exactly the type of average Aussie that winds some sections up because young British players are denied a spot. And to prove their point, in this instance Dominic Maloney was shipped out in order to accomodate him.

No, nothing like Lovegrove. He was a young kid making his way in the under 21s league in Aussie when Justin took a punt on him. He obviously had potential to improve, which he has. Players like Cordoba have hit their potential, and it isnt any better than some of the young British alternatives.

That might be true but we were desperately in need of a grinding prop having lost our other two to injury. He has plenty of experience at a pretty decent level which Maloney doesn't have as yet. So, I agree, from what I've seen so far we wouldn't want to extend his stay unless he improves markedly over the remaining matches but I do think the board acted quickly and effectively when they signed him.
