We happened to see Sam Moa after the Celtic game and he was saying how fantastic the black and white fans were and he could not wait for the derby. He admitted that he thought that the team left it a little late to win the game but said the fans were great and he couldn't see himself playing for any other team. Maybe Rich Agar should listen to his squad and stop slagging the fans off who pay good money to see a team that is totally crap at the moment. I am dreading this weeks derby cos if Hull play like they have been doing we are going to get slaughtered and wont the dobbins fans like that.

How has Agar still got a job?! I'm sure he's trying to get sacked.

If I had a bad two years in the office, I'd be out of a job. That's worse than being booed.

Not read much of the thread but for Agar to criticise the fans for openly voicing their disaproval of the players Performance/Commitment to the game stinks especially as just a week earlier he did exactly the same thing on the radio.

At the end of the day Agar should be more concerned with the lack of desire his team started with and played with for 70 minutes especially after all the supposed tough talking the team did all weak after the Cas game.
Questions need to be asked what the feck is going on because if thats the responce to the coaches call for a significant improvement then we are really in serious trouble.

Fact is Agar seems to have no motivational qualities and that is evident in his interviews. Its time he stopped hiding behind excuse after excuse about how badly done to they are etc etc and stop blaming others for his own failiings and be honest and admit he is simply not up to the task.

Turning on the fans is a sign of a very desperate man, he could have simply said that he understood the fans frustrations etc etc

Are you sure it's because you're their boss that they hate you? I don't think you have to be the enemy to be a boss - it's cetainly not my approach anyway.

I haven't said he was right to say what he said - I have merely said that it is being blown out of proportion, as is so often the case with sensationalist headlines.

So the fact that Agar will be "getting rid of the deadwood" at the end of this season matches your own approach, but you'd still get rid of him?

This is what I believe.

I think that, ironically, the booing probably spurred the team on to show us what they are capable of.

They don't hate me really, they just begrudge doing what I tell them at times. They're just happy I keep paying their wages every month right now.
