Quote: Chris71 "Having played the game myself, I don't know what games you have been watching as there is little to see that gives me hope TBH.
Whether anyone has played or not it is not difficult to see the problems and to address them however this doesn't seem to be happening at all. The same mistakes are being made over and over again, little if anything has changed to our tactics/game plans etc. We are still inept at running any sort of angles (apart from Tickle), support play is still poor. Yes I know Agar hasn't his own players, we have injuries etc but these are simple basic skills (along with others) in rugby that our professional club just hasn't grasped.
I see very little to be positive about at this stage apart from the fact that the club still has a great army of fans who love their club, just a pity that the ones employed do not show a little more desire and commitment.'"
postives from this year
support has stayed strong(in numbers anyway) from fans even with the whole friday night debate, credit crunch and the poor performances.
in my view tommy lee, danny houghton and mike burnett all good young local players have further established themselves.
Richard whiting and Richard horne have both returned from serious injury problems last year.
Calderwood has played better then many thought and upto his injury had a good season.
Sam moa is having a real go and is getting better each week.
the recruitment for next year looks alot better then the previous years.
in my view there are still positives to take out of this year.
