No matter who you have playing at 7, nobody would be good in this team. Nobody can do anything without runners and options.

There was a point during the game were I got slightly annoyed after Thorman missed yet another tackle and yelled: "For God's sake Thorman! You can't pass, you can't kick, and you can't tackle! Why the hell are you a rugby player?!" so I know exactly what you mean!

Yet he still keeps getting picked. There was a point were he actually made a few yards in one run, and I turned around to my brother and said "oh look, Thorman actually did something alright there", then turned around and he'd knocked on trying to get back up.



But this is what happens if you keep playing players that aren't in form, expecting them to suddenly turn it around. This is why I can't understand the people that thought we should have persisted with Craig Hall. Hall might come back from Widnes a much more confident player now, whereas if we'd have kept playing him we'd have had another Thorman.

Thorman isn't even looking for the options, and any slight hope of a fast attack is killed off when he gets the ball and plods sideways.

and whilst it would be hard for Andrew Johns in his prime to be a success in this team, Thorman could be alleviating the pressure by at least having a good kicking game and allowing us to make meters that way

since berro has moved to 7, he has realised is only option is to run with it. He is a world class player, and he must get very frustrated.

I think Thorman was well within his rights to have to have a go back at the supporters, if you cant take it dont give it, he trys his best he just isnt good enough to do the job he his asked to, personally I would much rather save my bile for the people who actually thought that he he could do a job and brought here, and who persist on playing him week in and week out, eg dumb and dumber.
