| Didn't go today (thankfully) but not in the least bit surprised at these comments. I just can't fathom it - Agar said in the pre match interview on KCFM that "Richard showed some great touches with the ball against Leeds and created several opportunities". Why the doesn't he change things around and give this guy a chance ? FFS we are pathetic with ball in hand surely a change of plan isn't that radical ?

Now look what he's said about him after todays game, " HE PEPPED US UP SECOND HALF" ffs, it just about sums up everything about team selection this season.

| Must start on Friday. If he doesn't it will show finally that Agar and Sharpp have no idea whatsoever.

| I say this every week, but Whiting really is one of the only players that gives a shiit about this club. Why we have not already signed him up, I dont know, it beggars belief. Technically he's a brilliant player, but it's the little things that I admire him for, i.e. as soon as he came on today, we were awarded a scrum and he instantly ran in and got the ref to stop the clock. If only every player had this kind of commitment, we would not be in this situation. I can't even begin to think how pi$$ed off he must have been when G.Horne came back from injury and walked straight into the team, at his expense. G.Horne is not only not good enough for Hull.FC, but he is not good enough for SL. We all know that the only reason he has still got a contract is because of his brother, if it wasnt for Richard Horne throwing a tantrum last year when it was rumoured that Graeme was on his way out, I doubt he would still be here. It's about time our board grew a backbone and got rid of these mediocre players that are infecting our team.

A lot of us said that last week and what happened?
To be perfectly honest I wouldn't blame the lad if he went elsewhere to further his career.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, Get Richard at Stand Off on Friday, it makes sense!!

| Whiting is an example of how a professional sportsman should behave. He has more reason than most of the squad to stop trying. Having been dropped for the terminally average Greame Horne when he'd done nothing to deserve it, then not starting the game today after last week's performance, it would be easy to see why he might feel a tad miffed.
And yet, he keeps giving 100% despite what his own personal feelings might be. A credit to himself, his club and his profession. Certain others should take note.
I'm slightly worried that a contract extension hasn't been announced for him yet. Surely the club wouldn't be stupid enough to let him go, would they?

It was 'announced' on here, but not by the club as far as I'm aware.

It would be a tough decision TBH. As a club its madness to even be considering not giving him a new contract.
