Exactly, whitings drop out at the magic weekend in 07 cleared 60 metres and even then it was caught on the full. Why he isn't allowed to take them and the penalties is beyond me!

Thorman always kicks it with the instep of his boot (basically a miss kick) which means the angle of the kick is always towards touch. Let Whiting kick it FFS, I assume is a question of pride though if you let someone else start kicking for touch.

Well he has already been dragged off the field this season and also dropped, how much more pride does he have left?

Webster takes most touch kicks, even though Anthony Thackery often amkes about an extra 15-20m every time!

Worst was few years back when Juels O'Neil kicked (usually 1 per game went backwards) and Steven Myler was ignored, Myler is now playing top flight rugby union at 10, I don't need to explain what his long kicking was like therfore!

You'll have Longy next year mind, IMO best in business! He may miss touch 1/2 a year but he makes up for it by making 30/40m a kick, other times!
