I think Agar seems like a nice bloke but his coaching is awful, In my opinion the sign of a good coach is getting the best out of the squad. He has not made one single player play any better which is far worse than Kear and Sharpe. I could go on but its depressing .

They wont be one,then i guess it will be time for him to go,and for what its worth i thought they panicked when sharp got the sack and so did agar,im not defending agar i just think he should be given till his contract runs out to prove himself,ive been following hull since 78 and ive never once thought about turning my back on them,yes im finding it tough atm as is everyone else,but ill still be there cheering them on every week.

So will me and many others but that make it acceptable mate to have a coach that in my opinion is falling to do his job

All this judge him when he gets rid of the deadwood doesn't sit with me anymore it's about here and now for me and he can't improve players core skills or bring anything new tactically to the team

Maybe we should as fans say we won't go again this season we'll save our money till next season when we have better players

Only we never will, we expect any team wearing the black and white shirt to compete with pride,passion,committment and that starts with the coach

I should have been a little clearer. I meant what excuse would be offered by people on here. To be fair to Agar, he's never blamed anyone other than the coaching and playing staff for our problems.

I find myself in an unfamiliar position. I'm not normally one to call for the coaches head, and I didn't do so when Kear and Sharp were in difficulties. I don't dislike Agar and I'm sure that he's doing his best to turn things around for next season if not this one. I just don't see any evidence that Agar is up to the job, and in particular his continued inability to manage his interchanges fills me with foreboding. It's an absolutely crucial part of the game and he doesn't appear to have a clue nor be getting any closer to having one.

I just don't feel that he has the necessary ability to do the job to the required standard, no matter how dedicated he is or how well he recruits. If that's the case then we can write off another season next year - and who knows how much damage that will do?

Was thinking that too! But imagine if one of us said 'when the deadwood goes, i'll support the team again'? We'd be crucified by the 'in any kind of weather brigade' on here.....

Agar should be able to coach the best out of the players available, that is what a coach does. Anyone can say that they can be a good coach with the best players!
