If you have watched him play for the Roosters this season you will see already that he is a better player than when he was at Leeds.

Actually quite a lot of Leeds fans were sad to see him leave when he went to Sydney. He always did a really good job for them when he covered either Webb at fb, McGuire/Burrow in the halves or even Diskin at hooker. His problem was that due to having top players in all those positions he did not get regular enough rugby. Many times he came on and helped them to win a game, I used to watch them most weeks home and away and he was pretty highly rated. The problem was his best positions were 1, 6 & 7 and with Webb extending his deal and the two halves signing 5 year contracts he was left with a decision to make.

Thats fair enough, similar situation to us signing Murrell from Leeds(not as many first team apps as Tansey though) I actually think its a decent signing, not one to raise the roof but one that will add cover in key positions.

what grounds(of his game) are you basing that on?

Christ, some people. he is a young British player that showed som epromise, we've got 2 years to turn him into a top level player, I am very pleased with the signing.
