| As things stand I would not renew my pass.
I've been a passholder for most of the past 30 years with only a few years break due to work commitments. The problem is everything is being done on the cheap and there is no entertainment value from the rubbish being served up on the pitch. I'm getting to the stage where although I've got a pass for this season I can't be bothered to make the 130 mile round trip to watch 5 drives, a poor kick and baffling interchanges. I mean, it's only six miles to Headingley for me and I couldn't justify spending the ticket money to myself as I knew we'd get hammered.
Thing must change quickly. Taxi for Agar, Sharp and Thorman please.

| Quote geronimo="geronimo"I think most people can see that we need a top coach, good scrum half, good centre and tackle busting prop.
I also think that JR probably knows this - but his primary remit from the board would be to safe guard our investment and to make a profit. If you can do this by playing good rugby within a set budget all well and good.
The off field development of the club has been very good and will hopefully benefit the club in years to come.
We are now at a crossroad where we are playing poor rugby and crowds will start to fall - resulting in the the boards primary objective not being met. - I think that this will result in one of two things a) cut and run and sell to the highest bidder (someone has to have deep pockets because RL clubs dont usually run at a profit) or b) try to change things on the park and hope revenue increases.
there is a third option but my mind wont go there - the board sit tight watch revenues decline and cut the operating/playing budget .
Solution god knows I just pray'"
Good post. Like it or not the board have to see the club as a business, and run it like one, we are in debt and even though we are turning over a lot of money we are not really in a position to be throwing big money at players. Off field we are probably the best side in Superleague and over the next few years we should see the benefits. That said there is a fine line, and money does need to be spent to strengthen the side, because if we don't improve on the field the reality is that the crowds will drop and the good work will be set back.

| It's about opinion isn't it? No one is right or wrong.
We're all passionate about the club and that's why our frustrations are boiling over at the minute. We all want the same thing.
I continue to go like I did last night and will do so for the rest of the season and probably until I'm unable to get there. I've been watching the team for 30yrs and it's just become the norm. I can why some of you think I'm a "mug" or an "idiot" for throwing my money away but that's my choice and as sad as I am I can't stand the fact of not been at a game supporting the team even during these times. Saying all that I also can see why some people no longer want to spend their hard earned cash on watching Hull at the minute and I certainly don't think I'm a bigger fan than them. It's about personal choice.

| Quote pmarrow="pmarrow"How many people are seriousley considering not renewing there passes for next season ? Alot of people I have talked to over the past few weeks have all said they are choosing games or not going for the forseeable future. I have friends not attending games who are pass holders, a friend who has given his pass away and these are people who have in the past brought extra people to games with them.
In this current moment in time I need every penny I get to fund a course I am currentley going on, with the price rise of everything going on I can no longer see a Season pass as a priority for me. The prices will probably go up ( a joke in itself) and for what we are getting in return seems like they are taking the biscuit.
Unless something improves throughtout the team I am no longer going to spend money on passes, shirts or waste my time on a club that seems like it doesn't care. Its being from one thing to another with this club and we quite frankly are getting embarrsed as supporters. We were once some of the loudest and proudest supporters around but over the past few years we have being embarrassed to the point were we are no longer proud to be FC fans. You get that feeling at every home game, the place is in melt down. James Rule its about time you gave up your stupid radio show, your stupid tantrums and do your fooking job.'"

This is such a fukwit argument. Do you not understand how the salary cap works and that we've been operating at it's maximum for years now?

| Has anyone thought this about last night.......Without the stupid mistakes the lads were making, and the soul destroying stuff Leeds were getting away with.......They actually looked good in places. We got tonked, but there were a few 'new moves' on show at Headingley. Maybe the inclusion of Tony and Gazza might be a tad more profitable next game?

We looked OK in the first half bearing in mind who we were playing and the fact only 12 of the 13 on the pitch were defending. Forwards made better yards than of late. The incident just prior to half time finished us for the match. No backbone in the team and a total absence of on field leadership meant we couldn't cope with that.
