Stop letting Thorman kick? In fact stop letting him touch the ball at all. Can someone explain why he is taking the dropouts by the way? My grandma could get more distance FFS! Tickle used to get some good distance when he took them.

I've never seen thorman hit a drop kick sweet they always seem scuffed. What about richard whiting at cardif one year he did two or three drop outs that went over half way

It cant be that difficult can it? I think thorman CAN kick its just his decision making when selecting type of kicks needed is utter e! Last night in the second half in that weather every kick should have been a bomb or torpedoed on the floor deep into the corners. Sadly we got neither.

Exactly what I was saying last night, whiting can drop a ball 70 metres.

Houghton put in a great kick out of acting half in the 2nd half as well.
Thought Tommy Lee's kicking was poor last night too.

Why oh Why in the wet conditions or any conditions for that matter dont we put up the high bomb? it gives the players time to run up to the kick and also causes mistakes in the opposition half. The stupid low trajectory ball straight at the opposition is ridiculous, we might as well just walk up to them and hand the ball over. Thorman or who-ever is kicking should get a video of Danny Brough and watch how a proper scrum half kicks with a variation of high bombs and low kicks and not the monotonous dross that is being served up now. our kicking game is so predictable its killing us, its a case of "Here you are boys, we've had our 5 tackles, you can have the ball back now.

not sure how we could put a decent bomb up in the 2nd half when we barely got out of our 30m??
