i said he is not a good ball handler and has no confidence,no mention of his defence which is one of his better qualities.

and im not just singleing him out he is not on his own,but yeamo is not taking the bull by the horns we know he is a decent player but his performances of late are crapp.

Errrr you are singleing him out......Thorman,Radford,Berrigan,Hall,Both Hornes,Tickle have been just as bad in recent weeks.

FWIW i thought he played well last night....took the ball in well rom acting half and his defence was spot on.

Yeaman has been nowhere near as good since he was injured at Saints in 06 IMO.

the players you mentioned have a slight handicap though yeamo doesn't,with the exception of berro they are all crapp and wouldn't get in any of the top 8 superleague sides right now.

its gonna be a long hard season playing this type of rugby, but what else can we do our hands seem to be tied at the moment.
we have to start re-building the team but we have a problem, if your coach doesn't see we have issues at 6 and 7 then we are gonna go round in circles.
If crocker doesn't come we need to spend that 200k + on a top class 7 when obviously one is available, and when word gets out we have the funds available top players like the attraction of big money.
We can then look at how good the rest of the players are around a good 7.

I'm not a huge fan of Yeaman, but I thought he had a better game for us last night than he has in recent weeks. Worked harder in defence and made fewer errors.

Still nowhere near his best form, but an improvement nonetheless.

Yeaman defended well last night . He was also unlucky to have a try disallowed . If Horne`s pass had not been intercepted he may have scored then as Goulding shot out and took the ball.

Fully agree, Yeaman was in if the pass hadn't been intercepted. Try disallowed was a 50/50 call as well.

When did Yeamo last get a decent pass? Defensively he cut out everything Salford had tonight and he also had to cover for all of Manu's missed tackles. Give him the ball and he'll show you what a great player he still is. Was a try for me too that got disallowed.

Best defensive performance of the season for him didn't miss one I don't think. Would still like to see him involve himself more in attack and develop a support play aspect to his game. Needs to defend like that consistently.
