Your right it is very important that the right questions are asked if the opportunity arises, which it wont.

There has been a lot said about Kath Hetherington and most of it gets said when things are not going right on the park, maybe clouding some peoples judgment.

Putting all personal vendettas aside i have always found her to be a fair woman and have spoken to her on many occasions. I am not here to defend her in any shape way or form but some people on her have very short memories.

Not only did Kath take over a dying club with all its debts but she turned it round into a profit making enterprise. On top of that the club plays in a state of the art stadium, has a fantastic player development program and very strong links with the local community. The merchandising and branding of the club is excellent and they are innovative in many areas of their business.

We have all heard about the Mally Walker offer to buy up her shares but does anybody seriously think he would be any better?? What experience has he got of running a SL club?? Rugby League is a niche market and i would take experience over devotion any day of the week.

Kath is the right person to take the club forward at this moment in time as there is nobody with anything better to offer and she deserves to see it through.

It may be a niche market, but its a business also. Its about identifying revenue streams, i.e with the merchandising. Thats why we have a merchandise manager, to oversee that. We have community development managers, managers in every area that pull together as a collective for the owner. If that owner has a passion for the club then they will know when an area is failing and change it. You dont necessarily need the "rugby league" experience, you surround yourself with people that are, but esure that those people are the right people

Why did he think that might be acceptable? Was he willing to negotiate at all?

What a load of bollox. Taking a view that you want the Board out is an entirely reasonable stance to take. Talking sh[ii[/ite like that, and posting other total garbage like the Lauaki not coming stuff without having the faintest idea of the real situation totally devalues your argument. Thread after thread of spurious cack is not the way to engender support. These groundless slag threads are the message board equivalent of 5 drives and a kick - boring. There is much wrong at the club at the moment but posting cloud cuckoo land fiction on here is no better.

I have nothing against her personally but what she lacks is street cred.She is just so out of touch with the fans.Maybe if she lived local she would realise what we need. We need a board who are in touch with the fan base around them,we need investment in one or two areas,(start with a top class scrum half),we need a C.E. who doesn't slip from one cock up to another and we probably need a top class coach.Afraid Agar was another cheap quick fix and from what i have seen seems out of his depth(hope i am proved wrong.Talk of boycotting certain thing helps no one,in fact it will make it worse.Been through a lot worse with this club and things can only get better.Kath should think what the crowds would be if we were as successful as her Husbands club,that would be a better way for her to get the money in.
