Hi All,
I need a diesel mechanic for my van. There is a problem with the fuel side. I have had a new filter and pump fitted but will not start. Its a PEUGEOT 2.5 engine. I am away for the EDINBURGH weekend.

Have you the pump coded by LDV?

have a look under ur kilt, im sure you'll find a tool there to fix it

Have you bled the system? On the filter head there should be what looks like a bleed nipple. Unscrew it and pump the black button until fresh diesel with no air bubbles in flows free. Then try it, making sure you wait until the pre-heat light is extinguished.

That'll be 50 quid!
