| Quote UllFC="UllFC"I suppose Agar hasn't had the time to change the squad that Sharp had though.
both are as guilty as each other, it was those 2 that took a side that finished runner up and needed only a few quality additions to 2nd bottom.
personally i think the style of play is about the same, but Agar is even worse with his tactics and selections than Sharp was...and Sharp seemed have control of the dressing room.'"
But he has not changed the style of play either - the reason sharpe got sacked was he had one stlye of play - which is the style agar also plays.
I cannot believe how disorganised our side looks in both attack and defence.
I bet our coaching setup ( people not eqpt or facilities) are the cheapest in SL and if they are not something is seariously wrong.
The coaching side of any sporting club (football, rugby cycling) is the most important area of the playing side - we saw that with Brian Smith - I dont know if we where forward thinking or we just got lucky, but this is the first area that you sort out.
paying good money for good coaching staff save's you money in the long run - by improving the players you have. and spending money in the areas you need.
We as supporters have fallen into the club owners hands by following like lemmings of the cliffe to buy season tickets - we should be sayings we are not buying season tickets anymore but if you improve on the playing front we will pay at the gate

| So, what do people want the club to do? No room on the cap to bring in better players this season, assuming Crocker and Lauaki get their visas.

| Fair enough, you want Agar sacking. A couple of days ago people were wanting Matterson. Cas are losing by 32 points at half time today. The next coach needs to be a considered, long term appointment. Sack Agar now and we just get Sharp. What's the point?
We do need better players, BTW. Going into a season with no recognised right centre was beyond stupid.

| if you look at all my previous posts ( not that many really) I would say most over the last 3 years or so have been about getting a world class coach - he can the decide what we need on the playing front etc

Just how the hell do you get to full cap, when you have a squad full of academy lads coming through. There were jokes about Rovers having half the squad on £100,000 plus but the ones quoted are now worth it (Walker excused). Berrigan apart, who in the hell is worth 6 figures in your squad? And if they are getting paid it, they aint earning it and the board have seriously overpaid on some.
Are they that comfortable on the contracts they have?

Raynor, Tony, Manu, Crocker, Lauaki, Yeaman, Thackray, King all internationals at some point. Cusack will be on a fair wedge as well - was captain at Rabbitohs AFAIK. Berro and Crocker will be on well in excess of £100k I'd imagine.

one thing for sure is we need to rebuild starting with the half backs,i know horney has already signed for several years but we can move him to fullback.
we at hull have wanted decent halfbacks for years now but our board can,t see it probably along with a few speccies, horney not a creative halfback, good individual player.
we can forget top eight playing like this, what we need to do is rebuild get rid of the average players and we have 8 of them.

The same point as sacking Sharp and appointing Agar or maybe sacking Kear and putting Agar in temporary charge. Shows that the club aren't willing to accept the poop that is currently going on there.
As for no right centre, doesn't seem to have effected Saints too much (not replaced Talau) or Leeds (only Senior is a recognised first team centre)

I completely agree with all that. People on here are saying they're withdrawing their support unless the board "do something". My point is that options for immediate action are very limited. If we sack Agar, there aren't better alternatives available right now.
