| Just as an aside, how would you have felt if it had been announced fc had signed Leon Pryce today and not Reardon.
I feel the embarrassment would have been outweighed by the fact you'd have signed the best No6 in the comp.
Reardon has a long way to go to get fully match fit and get over his injury, but if he does and turns out to be a top drawer player for you it will soon be forgotten.
My biggest worry would be his injury record and he may turn out to made of similar stuff to Adam Dykes.

| Quote Kosh="Kosh"Well, I've thought about this signing for a while before commenting. I've looked carefully at both sides of the argument and tried not to jerk my knee.
And after careful consideration, I believe that I am hacked off.
Poor signing that sends out all the wrong signals IMO. Nothing but an amoral desperation measure that reflects badly on the club.
It also makes me think that we won't be seeing Motu back anytime soon. If ever.'"
Well put and i agree re Tony, no ther reason we would be signing him otherwise is there?

We are exactly where we were last year in terms of player availability. 7 players unavailable. We could easily go the whole season fielding only 2 quota players, Berrigan and Cusack (unless you count Todd is God's 1.1 games).

My thoughts too.
We must demand news on Motu - this injury has lingered so long and we've had so many false estimations of his return date from the club - are they scared to announce the truth?
Or is the club only making one negative announcement per week?
Reardon today, Lauaki on Tuesday (following Agars announcement of a "dribble of feedback"), Motu....

Yep I reckon you are correct. Or maybe Reardon is just a replacement for Byrne?

But you were happy when you kept Cooke after his convictions, the only thing that upset the Hull fans was his leaving.
Did you scream for Raynors head after his racially motivated assault.
There are many pots and kettles in this city aqnd none of us should be calling the other.

| I think there is a big difference when a player who is currently in your squad takes part in a misdemeanour. You may not agree with what they have done but he is part of the team so you back them one way or another. (Majority of Rovers fans don't agree with what Cockayne did and rightly so, but i do not expect them to say he should be kicked out of the club either, for another club to benefit)
It is different when you get a player who has been sacked by a club because of a misdemeanour and the said club was congratulated on this very board for what they did.
Then to compound everything and show our club has no real grasp of how the fans feel they go sign the player.

| Quote Wellsy13="Wellsy13"What's it going to take for this club to realise they are f*cking the fans about?
I'm totally embarassed by this signing. Especially the day after we just launched a campaign against domestic violence. In fact, the club somehow managed to still mention this campaign in the same fecking article as the Reardon signing. PR nightmare.
I'm seriously considering stopping putting money in the coffers of these people week in week out if this is how they use it. It's beyond a joke now. The decisions at this club are totally pathetic.'" FFS the campaign was focusing on the rehabilitation of offenders, he has apologised and shown great remorse so really hull have shown initiative towards the programme in helping him. Good signing if he stay's fit.
Also let's get some perspective of what he's actually done!!!
Something tells me people on here just want to jump on the bandwagon regarding the board.
