Well what another poor showing that was, been saying all week we need to spell Thacks and Manu as they are our best 2 impact players. So Agar spells Thacks and brings him off when he is having the most influence on the game and lets Manu get completely knackered and have no real bearing on the game.
Heard lots on the radio saying we showed passion etc but i rarely saw it again today, when we did put in a decent kick there was nobody chasing it down, so Briscoe et al had ample time to stroll out of the in goal area. We again lacked any width, we passed the ball through hands on one occasion in the first and scored from it.
The only time we really showed any commitment was in the last quarter and it nearly paid off, however if Rovers had been a bit more clinical they would have been well out of sight by then anyway.
The worst thing is i cannot see this changing at any stage this season, if Agar goes we all know Sharp will be next in and his style of rugby at Hudds was exactly what we are watching now.
I will continue to go to all the games, but i just get the feeling this season is already over without even beginning
