I dont think he's our worst by far just was very let down when he came to us, i expected great things off him which he just hasnt delievered |

No. I think you missed the point
We have 3 hookers other then him. His large salary could have been put to very good use at centre/fullback or Halfback.
I'm not slagging Berro at all, he IS good. But do we really NEED him at the moment? (or more to the point do should we be spending so much on a hooker when Houghton and Lee and Tony can cover 9 just as well)
Same can be said of Crocker if he arrives. How many back rowers do we need? Will Agar still play Radders at 13, drop Tickle and play a second row of Crocker and Manu? (bet he does) |

When did Houghton get his debut? Would you have been happy going into last season having lost Swain with Houghton and Lee as our first choice hookers? And did you really just suggest Houghton, Lee and Motu can do "just as good a job" as Berro?
At the time Berro was signed we had Dykes signed up for the next 2 seasons so didn't need a halfback. Its the other areas of the pitch that are letting us down. |

I maybe hoped for too much,he was potentially the worlds best hooker at the time he signed but for me Swain was an alround better hooker, thats not Berro's fault but my aspiration i had for him.
I dont think he has been fit since he has been here and I am not sure we have seen the Berro of the NRL. If I was to mark him out of 10 he would be a 6 over the last season and a quarter.
We cant say we should have signed someone else coz I was as pleased as any one when he signed but he just has not performed as I had hoped.

For one we don't play anything like Brisbane do and to mark him 6/10... |
