Fair play to quins in grinding out a result, but I dont get all the Calderwood bashing, he aint seeing much of the ball while we are ploughing down the middle. The coach (who ever that is) has to take the flack for that

11 pages and no one has mentioned the ref. I thought he had a good game last night. Let the game flow without all the laying on. Even Mr Albeirt had a good game.

That's why.

A referee should not be mentioned after a game, it's not about him and they should not be noticed. The fact that they usually are simply reflects upon the fact that they are not doing their job properly.

we won our first 5 games playing this way, we then lost a game by 1 point maybe Agar thought to just give it one more chance. Now it hasn't worked 2 weeks in a row maybe now he will change it.

No we never, we actually played some good stuff at times. I can't actually believe this is the same squad as at Bradford. We played some excellent flowing rugby that day, which makes it all the more confusing that it seems to have seen us slump straight after.

It's time to stop kicking the ball dead from 40 - 50 metres and gaining an advantage.

Watching the game tonight Quins about five times just kicked the ball dead when "attacking" from 50 metres.

Hull then had to get all their players behind the 20 metre line, while Quinns only had to get to the 30 metre.

It was a reward for a poor kick "Great tactics according to Stevo"

IMO it should be an optional restart either from the place the ball was kicked or the 20 metre line.

We have played the same way! just the last 2 games we lost the forward battle! and anyone who thinks this wasn't the way we played in the first 5 were blinded by the victories.

I simply don't agree. We started like it against Wigan but steadily improved up to the Bradford game where we attacked very well.

Check back on my posts if you like, I wasn't blinded by the wins as I voiced some concerns even when we were winning. But to say that we played the same in the first 5 as we did last night is just an exaggeration IMO.

Isn't your second option what happens? Im assuming this is to give benefit to the short kick.

Back on track Quins dont seem to be receiving much credit for out smarting an "inform" Hull side. Not pretty but in the conditions effective tactics. No rule says throw it about.
