I'm coming to the game on Sunday. Are you doing anything like a petition and/or a demonstration about the merger of the academies ? I would support this if you were and would imagine so would plenty of other away fans,

I would doubt it, there was nothing at the last game, think we have bigger things to worry about and we should be getting behind the team.

Assuming the merger does go ahead, why not call the team "Hull City", as it could well be available soon.

In would say both Pearson & Hudgell have not thought about the negative implications merging the Academies would have on the fan bases of both clubs.

I just can not see any real benefit for this move as the negatives far outway any real positives if there actually are?

For me the biggest reason why we as a club fail to bring the youth through is the lack of quality and experienced Coaching from the Head Coach down through the youth development.

As the club is now the 3 main Coaches are Radford, Last & Horne not exactly a who's who of proven coaching. This is where the problem is we now have a Head Coach who is totally in experienced and has poor man management skills as has been proven. Only Radford has been to another club but only as a player. As for coaching non have experienced any out of the club so we are so insular and that for me is the problem

AP should have paid to get a Coach with a proven track record and got rid of all the backroom staff that have continually been part of the failure. Instead he rewarded an inexperienced assistant that was part and parcel of the failure by giving him the Head Coach role and he wonders why nothing is improving?????

ive been watching the x-files box set recently, so I have my conspiracy head on as I type this:
what if, pearson and allam have been along, allam has always said he would have ONE rugby team in hull(merge them). pearson runs us down into the depths of disrepair, we get to small a attendance that having us at the KC isn't financially viable anymore. allam buys fc from pearson, already input a £1m(interest free loan) into kr, and instead of calling that back, could take over the reins from hudgell.
move hull fc to mini kc and merge the 2 teams together. he can then take over at the kc stadium!!!!
