Surely it's only a waste of an overseas spot if we need it for somewhere else? Unless I've missed someone, we only have 5 overseas players signed up for next year, with one of those looking increasingly likely to be on his way out, so we've still got space if we need it.
I know it's possibly an alien concept to the Rovers indoctrination (
), but you don't HAVE to use every possible overseas spot and loophole to fill your first 17.
