A "bad day at the office" is fine, a bad attitude is not, and for me Briscoe was the most obvious symptom of what was behind what everyone agrees was a disgrace - a BAD ATTITUDE. Did Briscoe think he was playing park football? (To call it amateurish would be an insult to amateur players). Not just that he was playing in a strange position, he clearly didn't have his mind on the job. Which as a highly paid professional he should have.
If he thinks he can go to the NRL, well maybe he can but if he ever plays like that he'll probably be watching it like us while playing in the NSW Cup (or whatever it's called) for the next 3 months.
Briscoe deserves our support and has been a fine player but IMO he let down the club last night.'"

Briscoe didnt have his best performance in a black and white shirt far from it to be honest. But lets hope it doesnt effect his future performances. Everyone has one of those days. Unfortunatley it was live on SKY for the rest of the Super League to see.

Good point. Turner has scored tries on the end of good work from other players. He is patently waiting for the end of the season and if I were PG I would make sure that he's already reached it. St. Helens must have been looking for a dance instructor when they signed him, because his little hop and skip is the only thing he has to offer. |

I Think actually he's got a fair bit of talent and he clearly thinks the same. The problem is there's no heart. Did anyone notice how he was desperate not to slide on the artificial pitch when going in for his try? In trying to avoid a "burn" he almost put his feet in touch by going feet first! |

I suspect he thinks he's got more than 'a bit', and more than he actually has. |

We've had a problem in the past few years with our talented players not developing fully, they seem to get to a good level and think they've made it and don't need to work on other parts of their game.
