Hull City Council will tell them to take a running jump ..The KC Stadium was built has a Sporting Arena To be used all year round ..The Council involved Hull F C / Hull City in talk when the K C Stadium was Built ..If both teams had not agreed to play in the Stadium it would not have been built ..People should remember the Council paid Hull cash for the Boulevard as part of the deal for us to move into the K C Stadium ..Plus we have a lease and for the Council to terminate that would cost the Council a lot of money

The Premier League makes me laugh,not only are they taking the game away from the ordinary punter,but they also want to dictate what other sports do.
I hope the R.L tell them to ram it.

What a crock of poop this story is ! if it was up to me premier league clubs in the same city should be made to ground share , ala Pool/Everton.
If not,don`t let em build another one.

It's a non event really and has only come up because of the extra snow cover and freezing we endured this winter. This had a major effect on all pitches not just dual use ones, also as stadiums get bigger with better cover the pitches get less sun exposure which also affects growth etc.

Given the state of the Chelsea pitch back in 2006 I can't see any credance to the viewpoint of poor pitches. Were Chelsea threatened with expulsion for the pitch condition? Not a murmer as far as I know and Chelsea played Barca in a Champions league match on it.
Even if the PL put through a rule with fines/points deduction for non compliance etc, it wouldn't have a leg to stand on from a legal enforcement POV. If the PL then decided to throw its weight about & relegate a team they would be in a world of quag.

The irony of course is that some teams who play (eventually) in the Premier League cant even compete if it is a cabbage patch or a bowling green.
