| Still think this season could fall either way. We could finish anywhere between fourth and ninth. There's an awful lot of rugby still to be played, for everyone, a couple of wins here and there could have a massive difference on where we ultimately finish this year.
Think it's still premature to be writing the season off just yet!!

| Whislt i am more than happy with were we are and where we are going,a slow rebuild to get us back to where we belong, my only lil critiscism is our line speed defence( which for an aussie coach i thought we would be a tad quicker ) at. Leeds, kr, wigan all come off the line and into the oppo's line, ive noticed we come off our defence line by 2 or 3 yards then stop & wait for the ball carrier to impact us, prime example Leeds try after HT..we waited for the on rushing forward to skittle us. Just my opinion i think one area would improve usto tighten up on.

I went last night and thought both teams were poor, Hull had no go forward with Ese Ese and Knight on but seem to come alive with Ashworth and Eseh on but they second pairing only seemed to play limited minutes together. Second row an obvious problem. I'd have Ashworth and Fash second row next game, put Hardaker back to centre in place of Litten who just isn't good enough yet. A few games in and I'm still not seeing what Pryce brings to the side and I feel like we're carrying him hoping he's gonna come good but ut isn't happening at, no coincidence that we've lost, shape, energy, defensive strength since Litten and Pryce started playing?
Lots of things need to improve quickly though but I don't seen it happening. I saw a bottom four side out there last night, I know thats where most had us finishing, Cartwright took the plaudits in the first few games and now needs to accept some critisim in that we don't look like we've worked on anything since the Huddersfield loss, same slow defence, same stupid mistakes.
Utterly disappointed but also a massive reality check, we're not top six material and will lose again more times this season than we win
Genuinely not sure if this is satire or not I agree with most of his points, opinions are still allowed on this board right? or do we all have to post it's fantastic to have lost 4 in a row?? I think you're being a little contradictoy here. You defend Seb's post (which is his opinion) but would deny someone else the right to express their opinion on what Seb said. Double standards.

Poor 2nd half and just not smart enough in the opposition 20, what ever happened to trying to get a repeat set?
Also need to come up with a better plan/option than just going with Bourouh at 9.
Very poor end to the game to let Leeds go almost the length of the field.
Another to go in the coulda shoulda category.
Bourouh frustrated me last night and not for the first time. He repeatedly loses focus and becomes involved in niggling and messing about at the play the ball. I'm all for having that bit of mongrel about us but it has to be channelled, smart play that creates an advantage for us not the opposition. I'm surprised he didn't get penalised a few times last night. We overplayed Houghton for years and it did us no favours. If Balmforth is out of favour for some reason then use Cust. Not many other teams play their hooker for the full eighty these days.

| He might have earned a new deal but it's four coaches now that seem a little reluctant to have Balmforth as a regular in the XVII.

| Think we can all see just how weak we are in the second row and centre I also think we should move Pryce to six which is where i see him playing next season and try to find a quality full back with pace and who can tackle for next season. This would allow Cust to move to nine and give us a running threat from dummy half Chamberlain is just too bang average for the second row but we need to move Hardaker back to centre. Will get some criticism for saying this but just dont see anything in Litten as a centre. Now Fash is back i would play him and Ashworth in the second row until we get Cartwright back.Hardly exciting but offers a bit more go forward.

I think we need to give Litten a chance. He's done OK since coming back from serious injury. Showed that bit of magic albeit with a touch of fortune at Warrington and a great pass to Martin at Magic. He's got a lot to learn but has vastly experienced players like Briscoe, Hardaker and Rapana to mentor him. He's got a decent frame on him, actually bigger than Hardaker. People wrote Jez Litten off and letting him go came back to bite us on the backside.

The problem is it's Hull FC and life is never simple for black & whites everywhere, following this club is joy and torture in equal measures!!! It always has been, for those of us of a certain age, it most likely always will be, so strap yourselves in the roller coaster ride because that's how life is for the faithful I'm afraid!!!
Sums up perfectly my experience as a club supporter starting as an 8 year old in 1946 and my dad's support from 1920 to 1968. Many many thanks!
