Heard a rumour that Max has broken his leg ??
Well he is one tough hombre as he stayed at the ground throughout the rest of the game and came on to celebrate after the final hooter. Crutches and boot suggest he does have a bad injury though.

He was in pain but he walked off the field didn't he? so I'd be surprised if it was a break.....but if it is he'll be a miss.
TJ did same against Cas last year though didn't he? Up for the high ball, landed, in discomfort but hobbled off. Broken tibia. Voila. Hope it's not of course.

| Updates.
Jowitt not as bad as first feared, going to be in a protective boot for a week and then reassessed.
Vagana, still waiting on scan results.
Storton, not good, cartilage damage to his knee, needs an op, out for up to 4 months. Real shame for the lad.

That is awful luck. He’s been amazing. I even thought by end of season he could be putting himself in the window for international honours. Still 4 months there should still be 10 or so games left so there’s plenty of time for him to get a good wedge of games in and maybe even more if we get into playoffs. I’m sure he will stay as fit as he can and come back just as strong to start where he left off.

| We saw Max outside the Asda this morning and he was walking normally, so asked him how his recovery was going. He said that he starts running tomorrow and should be fit for the Cas game in 2 weeks I've also been told that Nikotemo should be back for then too

Hopefully his fitness will come back quickly and all goes well with recovery. I’d imagine he will be playing 6 if Trueman can’t recover but I would still look to be bringing in a halfback on short term loan as we need Max at the back. Best case is we have Truman and Max back vs Cas.

| I understand the call for loan players, but we have to be prepared to blood young players, especially when we have an injury situation... If we ignore out youth at times like this...when do they get the chance. Stevenson might not be the finished product but he is a precocious talent, and an odd game here and there will aid his development. We also have Jayden Myers waiting in the wings for an outside back slot.

I’m a fan of making as little changes as possible. That way we can at least maintain consistency in the structures at least. The way for me would be Stevenson or a half on 2 week loan. Walmsley will more than likely come in for Russell as a straight swap. Does anyone know what injury Griffin has. Powell said we lost him but didn’t really elaborate much.

Griffin tweaked his hamstring before the game
