Idris is indeed massive - but he's also soft and lazy; all the gear, no idea.

Idris might not train hard and all that but he runs and hits hard. Would be very surprised if soward or idris came to us anyway for a few reasons. A team like us would struggle to sign players of this profile I would have thought. If they wanted to come to sl the big guns would have the cheque books out surely.

Indeed, some posters are getting utterly carried away with names being mentioned on here. I'm amazed we got Anthony Tupou, I'd be surprised if we get any more of that pedigree, one at best - lets have a reality check pleeeeease. The main aim this season is to make the best of what we have got rather than expect a 9 signing miracle.

We all seem to be finding faults with potential signings one way or another,saying not much improvement on what we've got from last year.But the one key difference from the majority of last season is Brian smith who I'm sure will be the key factor and motivator to get the best out of players in the red,white and blue.Having spoken to him at lengths,I soon got the impresion that he's not one to be messed with and got a ruthless streak in him.Here's hoping for a very competitive side this season.

I'd suggest just Liam Finn's kicking game has already improved us ready for next season, how many times did we get near the oppositions line, only to put a shocker of a kick in, a fair few times giving the opposition the ball back on the 20?

Smith, apart from his excellent record as a head coach, certainly made some tough decisions at the end of last season following the stupidity of some of the clubs senior players and it clearly showed that nobody is put above the club.

It makes a refreshing change to know that we have a "proper" coach who knows how to deal with the multitude of situations that occur in pro sport.

Smith is the key signing for next season and although we all have opinions on this player or that player, this guy has a strategy to get us through next season and beyond and I'm with you in backing him and the club and the players he brings in, whoever they are.
