I think it very unlikely that the current Halifax side would win even 1 game in SL, look at Celtic and there current struggle to register points, therefor the claim that this current side is fit for purpose is not very valid.
The ground has taken About ten years to get to it's current standard and is no better than that of Doncaster, Leigh, widnes, Gateshead and I'm sure a few more, are these mp's who surely should have more pressing matters to deal with, what with the country in economic meltdown, swine fever and whatever else!!, are they suggesting that they should also be admired to SL.
A TOTAL NON STORY!!! What next Gordan Brown to look into shortage of medium away shirts in club shop and poor W.C lighting!!!

| I know that there are a lot bargains around at the moment but reducing the SL entry criteria to winning just 6 games in a row and having a nice stadium is taking it a little too far  |

| Staying on the political theme, Halifax has as much chance of joining Superleague next season as labour have of winning the next General Election, and that comes somewhere between nil and zero.
