Quote Big lads mate="Big lads mate"Players stood down for 2 weeks is a massive disruption as well even when there’s nothing wrong with them, having to train the best that they can in their back gardens and expected to be up to speed when back. The game has changed massively since most on here started watching. A settled side with a win thrown in makes a big difference.'"
Absolutely.
Some of the "challenges" this season are unprecedented and hopefully will be a thing of the past, sooner rather than later.
Testing, both positive and negative, the doubling up on games, positional changes and little time to recover and prepare so often in short time, plus the speed of the "scrum free" games will be a huge test for every club and every player.
All of the lads deserve praise for sticking at it.
The win against Huddersfield was huge, in terms of confidence ad although KR got back into the game, we were a different side today, especially in the first half and considering that we had to move Wood into the halves, when Gigot went off, there was still plenty of fire in attack.
Having said all that, surely, there has to be some player rotation for the Leeds game.
It's like a perpetual Easter program at the moment with no recovery time.!
Great win though
