Seems to have all gone quiet.

Tbf I’m happy with who we have, he’d of been an added bonus. Utilise the DR with Wigan for cover ie FB and hopefully we’re ok.

He looked like an exciting prospect to be fair.

I don’t mind who we sign so long as it’s a player that improves our starting 13 and is of a good quality.

Connor Jones? That would be a strange one. Signed a new contract a couple of months ago so would need a transfer fee and you already have Hood, Doyle and Smith. Fev using his picture today to promote Sunday's 1895 Cup game on SM.

Looking at 2023 he played 8 and the team lost 8. Not particularly inspiring. Would be better investing in Lawford.

If we are to sign a halfback it needs to be a good quality one who can take charge of the team for SL 2025. Halfback is one position we should not take a gamble on.

Most definitely, I would think the club will have feeler out already as we will have to assemble a stronger squad for our anticipated return to the big time than we are running with this year
