Great minds.
IMO not out of the realms of possibilities.
Would take a forward thinking council though. That's the thing I doubt the most. A uni would really put us on the map and give us a chance to develop the talent we as a city produce, instead of shipping it out (namely to Leeds and Manchester).
If you look in most industries you'll find us Wakefield'ites in and around the top of the tree, we get about you know!!

Not to mention the boost it would give to the local economy, a couple of thousand students living and shopping ect in Wakefield for 8 months a year.

I suppose when the college moves there is an ideal location for a university right where a brand new stadium/sports village should've been. |

I st wondered what would happen? Has mr glover said he will do these upgrades at belle vue of we dont get a licence? and has he confirmed that he can go ahead with them even though i thought we only had a lease for a year as we were going to barnsley?. does anybody know?

Our proposed expenditure was circa £10 million to replace one stand and reseeding the pitch, whilst your Mr G is looking to spend 500k,(or 5% of our budget) in the hope it brings all of BV up to minimum SuperLeague licence standard!
Does LIDL do flatpack stadia?
