| Quote: Scarlet Pimpernell "Fifita does not have the virus and remained in the bubble. His crime was to remove his GPS I am sure Kay doesn’t have the virus but must have been around someone who has within his family. To be technical his action could have put more team members at risk than Fifita, hence my question why an indefinite period for one when his offence one presumes would be 14 days isolation and not the other.
It is the ambiguity I question, if you know why please enlighten us. I wonder if Fifita’s salary is reduced or stopped during a breach like this.
On the subject of transfer fees why should we not demand one Castleford did for Gale and St Helens did for Richardson, so not quite so rare when it comes to what a club would consider to be a major part of their team.'"
Great that you are 'sure' and that you know what 'must have' happened but the reality is we have certain guidelines to follow as a sport to make sure we are allowed to continue as a sport.
It's not just about catching the virus, which is a terrible thing in itself, and the GPS procedure is designed to protect the team and extended family, it is also about keeping the team and sport going. It's irresponsible to go your own way.
It shows lack of respect to his team mates, the club and the sport.

He'll be on TV at 6.30 tonight. Lets see.
Strolled around the pitch and avoided work really well so far! Has he even taken the ball in?

He used to say the same when Pauli was at Wakefield RC so I know he’ll be saying it now.

| Of course I am sure Kay was tested Monday according to the CEO so I guessed that would suggest he was clear. You call me negative, I say realist, I consider you too acceptable of all things coming from and relating to the club.
I suppose only time will tell but how many more poor performances will the supporters put up with beyond the forum bubble.
I hope you will not be surprised if there are negative posts after tomorrow’s game if we perform how we have. I know you can try the excuse that we had players missing or that it was done for the greater good unfortunately that appears not to be a stance taken by any other club. I suppose they consider that the performance on the field outweighs any kudos from Super League hence they prefer to field the best team possible once they are clear of the two week quarantine.

So we all had a good look at Pauli Pauli tonight and saw nothing new.
I also saw Tui Lolohea look about the same size as PP. WTF?

I said the same Wollo, How much better would they be if they shed a few kilos, it’s easy at their age and in a full time professional environment, Christ if I had the frame of Pauli at his age I’d smash every body in front of me, now I’ve the frame of Lolohea at 59

Quote: Slugger McBatt "The crucial sentence for me is the reference to him refusing to wear GPS in the past. It sounds like he has a problem with GPS for reasons that are only known to him, something which the club has tolerated in the past. Dave hasn't changed his stance, it would appear. It has become compulsory, that's all.
What I recall from before the resumption is that MC commented that a couple of players are not agreeing to the paycuts that everyone else has tolerated, for the good of the club and also for the good of the game, and one would surprise everyone. It was also apparent that Fifita was one of the last ones to agree terms. Draw whatever conclusions you want from that.
Every player has a value, measured against what they bring to the club. That is why some players get away with more things than others, because they bring added value. I can't help wondering whether the club has decided that despite what he has been capable of on the pitch, he has become a luxury they can do without, particularly as what he brings on the pitch isn't quite what it was.
He is at the end of his career. He could see it out with us, but he is bound to wonder whether there is one final stint somewhere else. Somewhere hotter, or a bigger club, or closer to home. Arguably, choosing to see it out with us would be the laziest of the options and perhaps we wouldn't get the best out of him as he sees out his career, the contract in the bank.'"
When daddycool was still on social media he came on here and stated categorically that DF's delay was nothing at all to do with money?

Maybe it was the GPS thing?
