I didn’t come to Belle view today as I went to Doncaster game, I did watch the game on our league on my phone whilst sat in a freezing Keepmoat, it looked to me like our first choice half backs and full back managed the game perfectly and passing was crisper and quicker, the result was we created space abs opportunities to score. A good win over one of the teams we need to be picking up wins from.

I think most people agree he’s a better second rower than he is prop, even Chester has said he’d rather play him there. The problem is, in my opinion, is that he’s also the best prop at the club as well. To accommodate him in the second row you’d have to drop Pitts and Ashurst, both of whom were excellent today. I actually thought he went well this afternoon and would leave him there again next week.

Much, much better today, we actually looked threatening with the ball, and like others have said Ashurst and Tupou were looking like their old selves. Miller made a big difference, both wingers were very good, and missing 2 hookers it shows we do have some depth and there is enough talent in this squad to win our fair share of games. Hopefully now we will keep the majority fit, get TJ & Wood back and who knows? It could still be a decent season, but a sterner test awaits next week.......but well done boys, and i'm pleased for CC.

In his defence, Carter has said we’re looking for a full back next year. It may have been twisted a bit to say Max hasn’t been offered a new contract, but I reckon that’s where it’s come from.
