Funny Leeds bleating about players missing but they had 10 of their starting 17 squad numbers playing, we had 9.

Also they had their starting 1,6,7 and 9.
We had a loose forward covering 9 and our 1 and 7, although playing their way into the position, were not our intended 1 and 7, with Walker and Brough getting those squad numbers.

Just shows you what we've got used to as no one even thinks about that any more at Wakefield. You'd think Leeds were the poor club stretching their squad.

Well, finishing the season with a double over Leeds isn’t so bad I guess.

Another very good overall team performance. Is it the fish and chip paper effect, I don’t know, but whatever has happened over the past week and a half seems to be working well.

I think a lot on here, including myself can dish up a large slice of humble pie. I think at the time, some criticism was justified.

Moving onto next season, I still think we need a few new bodies in the squad, with a proper organiser, and some fresh blood in the front row. That bit of extra quality may just help us get over the line more often in those close games.

If we get these, and get them right could potentially have a really good squad overall for 2021.

I have actually read back on these posts, and at the time it was mostly set around David Fifita and his refusal to wear the tracker, and what I had been informed regarding the club and COVID protocols. Bearing in mind, it was over 2 months ago, and the club have probably ended up with more positive COVID tests than any other club, and we have only turned the corner on our season 8 days ago, following a news article, maybe some of those were justified.

As for turning to other colours, what rubbish, I have merely pointed out on a few occasions that off the pitch I think a certain other side are ran better, doesn’t mean to say that is reflected on the pitch. I could say there are other sides ran better, does it mean I support them, no.

Take for example crowds, in 2017, their average crowd was higher than ours, when they were in the Championship. Not too long ago, a new housing estate was being put up, and the chairman said at the time, when these are finished were going to do some marketing, to try and boost revenue further. Have we came up with anything like that for when City Fields is complete?

The minus 4 comment, sometimes you need to put priorities in place financially. In our house, it is 3 adult tickets and one child. It does add up, and when they play like they have, for some that cost, to me, and probably others is not priority.

Our pack has certainly been on top in the last few games and Fifita played his best game of the season last night (by some distance) and on the back of a more dominant pack, Miller too, had his best game of the season.

A definite change of mindset from the senior players. Many of the younger ones will always give 100%

Although he doesn't get much of a mention, young Bachelor also looks to be right on top of his game with or without the ball.
