If he has signed then he deserves at least a chance. We can't get much worse than the way we performed last Sat. Cookey may just give us another option we are looking for! He has talent, now can Mr Kear keep him under control?

yep i agree, he's a class act and someone we at Wakey could only dream of signing pre JK days, reallity check folks we are not a big club and should not turn our noses up at quality players like him, i trust JK will get the best of him again and that'l do for me

Regardless of individuals opinions on Paul Cooke, i'd say all fans will get behind him and support him. We all believe in the judgement of JK, as has been shown with past signings. If Paul Cooke puts in the effort then we as fans can't ask anymore.

I really do think Jon Kear will get the best out of Cooke.
It was a clear case of Morgan and Cooke never seeing eye to eye and If your not an Australian at Rovers then you will always be on the back foot with Morgan.
I bet this turns out to be a great move for you as Cooke has all the talent in the world. He just needs a little help from a good coach to push him in the right direction.

Agree, Judas is a class player and Kear knows that and always brought the best out of him..It just went Pete Tong after his move, he will play very well with Broughy..Good signing for Wakey and believe me he will be MOM every time you play KR

You would have to imagine that Cooke will be used at 13 with Latu reverting to Hooker for the season at least.

Danny Brough won't be moving anywhere until his contract is up unless we've received a large transfer fee. And that seems unlikely from Hull KR considering their financial problems

Morgan doesn't have an aussie bias, he just doesn't get along with Cooke. For what ever reason he has never really fitted in with JM's plans and a move to wakey may be what he needs to reignite his form which for us has been only seen in small doses.

this will add a lot to the squad imho , i will judge cooke on performances and behaviour whilst at our club ... i along with many got taught a lesson when we signed Moore and the other bad boys.

Can clauses be put in loan contracts for example Cooke not being be allowed to play at the weekend against Rovers ?
As much as Morgan wanted rid of Cookie I bet he never had the balls not to put one in if he can.

All loan deals between SL clubs have clauses in them that prevent playing against parent clubs. I don't expect Cooke's to be any different (and I'm still awaiting proper confirmation of a deal, as the HDM is less accurate than Viz when facts are involved).

That's not true Hull had Nick Scruton on loan from Leeds a few years back and not only did he play against them he scored against them
