I think it’s more the communication wasn’t the best around your seats being secure. It wasn’t very clear that the seats you were sat in were also held until November deadline.

Probably some doubt from what happened last time with people able to select seats of season ticket holders for the playoff game.

It'll be interesting to see how many season ticket holders renew. I think it might be a fair bit less than the 5200+ from this last season - but we'll get more paying on a match-by-match basis. A couple of factors that spring to mind.

Last season some of the prices were effectively give-away. Nothing wrong with that - we had an increased ground capacity of over 7000, and it made sense to get fans in, even if you didn't charge them very much. The coming season will have more "realistically priced" tickets.

The other factor is last season the fixture list was pretty much set in stone from the outset - apart from the 2 early home matches that were switched because of the water issues. So you knew exactly where you were. I suspect this season the games will be all over the shop, from Thursday to Sunday - so many people will think it makes more sense to just buy tickets for games you know you can attend. Which also makes sense, as it's not very good if too many people buy season tickets but don't turn up for the games (ok if you have lots of spare capacity, but not so good if you're near capacity on some games).

Guessing we've not broke 3k yet which is a bit disappointing and reality check, but with general release tomorrow this may give it a boost.

I presume that the lack of number updates since the beginning of the week is due to a tail off in renewals.

Agreed, which is why I hope general sale gives it a kick up the backside.

I’m sure by the time season starts we will be up and over 5k at least.

People might be waiting to go to the shop after payday this weekend. Maybe a few Christmas gifts bought at the end of November?

How many adult ones did we actually sell last season? The free kids ones skewed the figures?

I think we were at around 3800-4000 with the adult ones.

Season ticket sales we could only dream of 12 months ago. Let's see how it goes over the next couple of weeks.

Already got 3 and getting another tomorrow as they go on general sale, I suspect and hope that more will be sold after season ticket holders have renewed

I suppose its only the people in the East Stand who need urgency to renew their seat spots.... Be interesting to see how many want to move into the seated area and what that might mean for future seating capacity requirements.
