It cannot be MC’s plan because he is going at the end of the season, so he has little time left. If he plans to get an head start in the Championship by having a squad of the standard required this season then yes he has achieved that.
I wonder who we will arrange a dual registration with so that we can assist to give the senior’s clubs players playing time. The recent movements suggests we are already putting the processes in place.

Well I'm not sure he knew he was going when he said that, but I don't understand why he's now getting a hard time about this. Isn't it good to try for this.
We did better than most on academy, we just seem to be stuffed by those not needing to pay for academies and invest in short term squad.

It's not so much as a hard time, but its just we don't seem to be going in the path that he said only just over 12 months ago, and this is him saying it, no vicious rumours here. So many young players we have lost since this.

The team are certainly not playing to their abilities that’s plain for all to see , they may not be the best in super league by a long shot ,but they are at a better level than they are showing at present and there lies for me the problem . Is it simply down to confidence or poor structures put in by the coach ,im not sure , but just looking at the team struggling with the basics of the game is worrying .3 defensive howlers cost us dearly at Wigan something you don’t often see in the amateur game let alone with professional players .

Yeah we’ve always seemed to have a good production line for homegrown players, I just hope the dream comes true and most of our first team consists of players graduating from the academy.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Rovers have only two players in their whole 1st team squad who have come through their system. Lewis and Fishwick.

They did have Will Tate who was released to Castleford once they got Corey Hall and Connor Barley who is now on a season long loan to York I believe.
