| The colours are described as blue with black/navy hoops.

| Nah, it may as well have “marching all together” written on the back of the shirt. Don’t want the club to miss out on any revenue though, I will have find something else in the club shop to spend my £60 or so on.

| Was woken up by high winds in the night so copped a quick look… my sleepy original thoughts were that it was a nice design
Having looked long and hard this morning I’ve concluded that as a lifelong fan of the team if I casually saw a game with no sound (can’t stand the sky commentary) I would not recognise that it was Trinity playing.
So … nice design … but not a recognisable Trinity brand … poor choice on the trim colour
Not a shirt I would buy for myself or one I would buy for my kids / grandkids … which is a shame…

| Sorry, don't like it. I have to agree with the Leeds replica brigade. Very poor choice, I'll have to think twice about my platinum membership next year as that's two season's disappointment on the trot for me. Hoping for a variation on the legendary "Toppo" shirt design with a special golden badge.
Not for me!!

| Quote: Kettykat "It was wakefield trinity way back when we started , that’s why we are celebrating our 150 anniversary, no red ,white or blue anywhere to be seen . Gees try to get in the spirit of the club and what they are trying to achieve here .'"
Apparently not, style yes but colours not, I would suggest you redirect this to the club for not achieving the spirit you thought they were. If they wanted to truly reflect our first shirts the hoops would be blue and black without any gold trim.

| I like it. A nice homage to the original Trinity shirt from when the club started with the blue/dark blue hoops, and matches with the original Wakefield coat of arms gold fleur de lys on a blue background.

| It's nothing like the original Trinity shirt and 100% like whinos, awful choice and one I'd replace the merchandise manager for if that's the best he can come up with
Like several other posters, I won't be wasting my money on it - my whinos mates will take the rip big time if we go with it...not to mention all our other rivals

| If people don’t like it the don’t buy it. Simple solution.
Don’t spend your money on it then. Especially if your more bothered about what fans of other clubs might think instead of supporting the club. You won’t have to worry about it then.
The clubs intentions were clear and they have used a club colour in blue with gold trim representing our 150th. It is a trinity shirt and that is fact.

Is it really a modern take on the original Trinity shirt? I've never seen it or heard it described.
If there is some evidence of this, then it's a neat idea, albeit I agree that the trim should be red, not gold.
If this is the idea of a merchandising manager, the manager needs to take a course on brand identity. As someone else has said, you wouldn't know it as a Wakefield shirt. Potentially a good idea but badly executed due to the Rhinos comparison.
But if anyone feels miffed about it, take a tour of the Leigh shirt.

Cue Derrick pulling another P.R. stunt to get the camera back in his direction.

TBH, I don't give a sh*t what fans of other clubs think......
I won't be buying it and I do support the club through thick and thin.
I don't like it. End of.

| Really disappointed with this “Home” shirt, it would have been acceptable as an “Away” or a one off to celebrate 150 years.
I always buy the home kit as it generally Red, White and Blue, I like those colours and synonymous with Wakefield Trinity.
Both my kids agree too and for the first time neither are bothered about having the shirt for Christmas.

The club have put a photo of the original Trinity shirt on their faceache page
