Admittedly, the end to last season was absolutely unacceptable, on the other hand, Wakefield's end to last season was freakish and I'd stick my neck out and say it won't happen again. Yes I am being biased and i think fans of all clubs over estimate their own respective chances. We shall see how it all pans out over the next few months and all the best to yourselves! At least you still have a club to support which is the main thing!  |

I'm with you on that, we rolled with our good luck.
But we put ourselves in with a shout due to some very decent late season form, maybe we won't have to leave it so late this year.
Who knows how this coming season will pan out.

The end to this season may not be as good as last season, but based on the fact that the team had never played together last season but have now had a good season together then the 1st half should not be as bad as last season so in theory we should pick up points in the 1st half of the season that we may lose in the second half.
On the basis that we had a completely new team last season and looking at the performances that we had in the 2nd half of the season against some pretty good teams I will hazard a guess that however they feel they might have strengthened, none of the teams that finished below us last season will improve enough to finish above us this season, and I would include Bradford in that before anyone says that we only finished above them because of a points deduction.

Embarrassed to finish below Wakey? I think thats a little direspectful considering we won 3 more games than you last year, beat you in your own back yard in a pressure game and gave you a damn good game at the start of the season when we were a brand new team. |

Agree, I could accept one of the top 5 sides fans saying that but not a bloody HKR one, especially as they're nowhere near good enough for one of their fans to be coming out with crap like that. Like you say they finished behind us last season and we were a brand new team which took half a season to gel and I also reckon that one team has got stronger (Trinity) this year and the others got a bit weaker imo. |

(please note I have used a lower case "i" to gauge whether you have wider issues or simply object to my use of a "faux law" in the wrong context).. I would have hope the majority of forum members would have understood where I was coming from
Aside from this .... I fully expect Wakefield to finish above Rovers in 2013 so will look forward to revelling in your embarrassment....

Yes! Indeed it is copied and pasted from Wikipedia but that was only because it was the quickest and easiest way to explain my point! I'm fully aware of how the law of averages is absolute twaddle! From my days in the bookmaking industry, it's one of my most hated phrases along with "all trainers are bent"  |
